Job summary

Fortrex in Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for Sanitation to oversee daily sanitation operations and drive safety and quality. You will support the Site Manager, monitor performance, and communicate with both the plant team and customers.

The role emphasizes safety training, PPE usage, and alignment with company policies. A 12-month safety program and ERP training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to read, write, and do basic math.
• 6 months to 1 year sanitation experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sanitation crew daily and report to Site Manager.
• Conduct weekly safety audits of staff and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with customer and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Assist in training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
