Maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the store in adherence to company standards and health department regulations. Clean and maintain exterior front entrance and sidewalk conditions, practice safe food handling procedures, and provide customer service. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read a technical manual, retain, and comprehend
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division
• Reading/writing skills to complete forms
• Ability to work as a team member
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend
• Ability to utilize safety awareness and practices
• Good customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Any previous related work experience

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service and effectively communicating with store associates
• Practicing safe food handling procedures
• Utilizing and operating equipment to clean and maintain floor conditions throughout the store
• Cleaning public restrooms and filling towel, tissue, and soap dispensers; emptying and disposing of trash throughout the store
• Cleaning walls, vents, and ceilings; exterminating rodents and insects; dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling refrigerated cases
• Moving equipment and non-stationary displays to facilitate cleaning
• Replacing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
• Cleaning and maintaining cleaning and sanitation supplies in departments
• Shampooing and vacuuming mats and rugs; following after hand scrubber and trail mops
• Mixing cleansers and sanitizers properly for best results and safety
• Spreading ice melt and shoveling snow from front entrance and sidewalks as needed
• Performing minor maintenance on equipment when needed
• Working cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments
• Managing conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Following directions and seeking assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
• Supporting and assisting through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
