Rise Baking Company in Tucker, GA is seeking a sanitation leader to develop, implement, and sustain effective sanitation programs across our plant operations. You will train teams, maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule, manage chemical controls, and coordinate with leadership to meet food safety, regulatory, and customer requirements including HACCP/GMPs.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred and/or 4+ years of experience implementing sanitation programs.
• 4+ years of management experience preferred.
• GFSI, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture experience preferred.
• HACCP and PCQI certification preferred.
• Experience developing and managing to a budget preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the sanitation program to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Maintain and update Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Provide direction, training, education, and technical support to ensure effective deployment of sanitation policies and procedures.
• Work with plant to ensure they have systems, knowledge, capabilities, and practices to comply with regulations including HACCP, GMPs, sanitation programs, and environmental monitoring.
• Proper record-keeping of results and reporting mechanisms to keep leadership informed of progress.
• Partner with plant management for successful completion of audits.
• Monitor emerging issues related to sanitation and food safety.
• Assist with sanitary design of equipment and setting standards for cleaning equipment; verify SSOPs.
• Manage chemical control within the sanitation department and maintain inventory within budget.
• Provide guidance during sanitary issues including investigations.
• Ensure plant designs and implements hazardous waste management plans.
• Manage safety requirements including SOPs and incident investigations.
• Foster teamwork and support quality and legality of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
