Alpha Baking Co. is seeking a sanitation leader to oversee compliance, policies, and daily operations in a food production environment. You will lead a 25+ strong sanitation team, manage scheduling, and coordinate with Pest Control to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires extensive HACCP/FSMA readiness, strong GMP practices, and ability to respond to audits and regulatory visits with professionalism.

Formación

• More than 5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• HACCP and FSMA (PCQI) certifications are preferred.
• More than 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor is preferred.
• Personal Computer Skills - Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience in scheduling, training, and directing cleaning crews.
• Understanding of the American Institute of Baking inspection procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean work environment and sanitation workflow by following the Master Sanitation Cleaning schedule frequencies.
• Develop and implement sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Manage and oversee a team of sanitation staff, providing leadership and guidance.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing cleaning and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory to meet department needs.
• Develop sanitation staff through communication, evaluation, coaching, and monitoring.
• Work directly with Pest Control Provider.
• Conduct weekly plant GMP audit inspections.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and local health department requirements.
• Oversee sanitation staff of 25+ hourly union employees.
• Participate in customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory visits.
