Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sanitation Crew Lead for a 1st shift at our United States hatchery. The role coordinates sanitation activities, supervises the crew, and ensures safety and biosecurity policies are followed during daily cleaning and sanitizing of hatchery facilities.

Responsibilities include planning crew tasks, operating cleaning equipment, maintaining records, ordering supplies, and mentoring new team members while adhering to company guidelines and attendance standards.

Qualifications

• Plan and coordinate activities of the Sanitation crew.
• Operate high pressure hose to clean hatchery rooms and equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and correct unsafe conditions.
• Collect and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Order inventory and maintain supplies.
• Lead positions must currently have four attendance points or less.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the activities of the Sanitation crew. (30%)
• Operate high pressure and regular water hose to clean and sanitize hatchery rooms and equipment, including hatchers and setters. (35%)
• Maintaining a safe working environment and correcting unsafe conditions and acts. (5%)
• Collect and complete all paperwork along with daily, weekly, and monthly reports. (10%)
• Ordering inventory (5%)
• Maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers, assist in training new team members, ensuring all team members are following proper biosecurity, animal welfare and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area. (10%)
• Lead positions must currently have and consistently maintain four attendance points or less.
