Job summary

Creative Werks in Bartlett, IL seeks a sanitation leader to oversee programs across three shifts, train staff, and ensure changeovers are performed on time while maintaining food safety and process efficiency.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance and Quality, develop and update documentation, monitor ATP and allergen data, and lead improvements through Kaizen and time studies. Bachelor in food science and 2+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic sanitation principles, allergen programs, and preventing foodborne illness.
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train employees to work in safe manner
• Oversee Sanitation Assistant Supervisors and Team Leads, provide guidance on daily expectations and sanitations (changeovers).
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance and Quality to prepare sanitations and cleaning validations
• Create, update and provide training and guidance to Production and Sanitation teams on what and how the sanitation should be performed, and documented expectations
• Create and revise documents including but not limited to Line Clearance Sheets, SSOPs, Work Instructions, standard work, training videos and production line guidance binders
• Monitor, trend and improve ATP and allergen data
• Monitor and report on sanitation hours through staff data, Kaizen events and time studies
• Schedule, plan, and audit planned maintenance of sanitation equipment such as parts washers, color-coded utensils and more
• Audit, react and improve the Tooling Inventory, 5-S, parts washer usage, manual cleaning and other processes of sanitation
• Enforce company rules, policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, discipline, cooperation and teamwork
• Be punctual, attentive and active in business meetings
• Adhere to and train on CW’s Pathogen Procedures, including but not limited to Allergen Control and Facility Color Coding procedures
• Perform other duties and improvement projects as assigned by Management
