Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Berkeley, Illinois is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead the sanitation program across morning and night shifts, ensuring safe, clean production areas and compliance with FDA, FSMA, SQF/GFSI, and customer standards. Manage sanitation supervisors and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with FSQA, Production, and Maintenance to address findings, maintain records, and promote a strong food safety culture while supporting operational readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Sanitation, Microbiology, Operations, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the facility sanitation program including Master Sanitation Schedules and SSOPs.
• Lead sanitation activities for morning and night shifts with assigned supervisors and ensure staffing coverage.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records, review reports, and drive corrective actions and improvements.
