Job summary

Maker's Pride, LLC in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Plant Sanitation Supervisor to implement the sanitation program and uphold Food Safety Standards across the site. You will train sanitation staff, address GMP issues, and communicate sanitation matters with the Quality Manager, Plant Manager, and staff.

The role requires 3+ years in sanitation/food safety supervision, LEAN CI familiarity, and experience with GMP/HACCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sanitation, food safety or quality supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, allergens and BRC.
• LEAN Manufacturing techniques and CI tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Sanitation program (HACCP, Allergen, etc.) in compliance with regulations.
• Lead sanitation team and supervise staff; manage MSS and budgets.
• Prepare facility for third-party or customer inspections; ensure MSDS current on site.
• Work with Plant Manager and Quality Manager to address sanitation issues and drive improvements.
• Provide training to sanitation employees and develop future supervisors/managers.
• Able to use MS Office, SAP/PICK in daily operations.
