Job summary

creative werks is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Changeover Lead to oversee production line changeovers, sanitation readiness, and adherence to safety protocols on the floor.

You will train staff, coordinate sanitation crews, and monitor MSS while ensuring proper cleaning, allergen control, and packaging readiness across shifts. The role requires flexibility for weekend work and strong teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year experience in a food/nutrition manufacturing facility.
• 1 year of sanitation experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate safety as the number one priority for employees by encouraging safe work practices and addressing safety concerns.
• Observe and implement safety corrections on assigned lines.
• Train employees to work in a safe manner.
• Oversee multiple line changeovers to ensure proper cleaning is performed and staff are utilized efficiently.
• Train sanitation leads, production leads, operators and crew on effective sanitation practices.
• Train, manage, clean and troubleshoot sanitation equipment.
• Manage 5S and inventory of sanitation tools, line-specific tooling and equipment.
• Adhere to and train on CW’s Pathogen Procedures including allergen control and facility color coding.
• Document and execute changeover times and quality swab testing.
• Test and document chemical concentrations.
• Ensure sanitation tools and equipment are delivered to lines prior to changeover.
• Ensure equipment is disassembled and reassembled properly.
• Complete Line Clearance sheets and file storage per SOP.
• Communicate changeover status with sanitation and production teams.
• Suggest improvements to management for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate shift handoffs with Sanitation Assistant Supervisors.
• Work with Production management to assemble sanitation crews.
• Monitor MSS and allergen/recycling bins per CW procedures.
• Enforce safety, discipline, cooperation and teamwork policies.
• Support weekend or flexible shifts as needed.
