Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Sanitation Worker on the third shift. Start pay is $19.15 per hour with an attendance bonus of $2.75 per hour if qualifications are met, for a potential total of $21.90 per hour.

Work includes cleaning and sanitizing production areas, completing safety and GMP training, and lifting up to 40 lbs in a refrigerated environment while standing for long periods. We are looking for candidates with good employment history that will fit and grow with our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment.

Sanitation Worker

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
