Job summary

Crunch Pak, LLC is seeking a Graveyard Sanitation Technician Level 1 for a part-time schedule (~32 hours/week). Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a $3.00 shift differential for the Graveyard shift.

The role involves cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and facility areas in accordance with GMPs, food safety standards, and safety requirements. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds and work in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sanitation is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and facility areas per GMPs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Work with team, leads, and supervisors to meet cleaning specifications.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Graveyard Sanitation Technician Level 1 is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, tools, and assigned facility areas in accordance with company procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and safety requirements.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the department lead/supervisor.


• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.


• Must work as a team player, ensuring cleaning specifications are achieved and in a safe/efficient manner.


• Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members, leads, supervisors, and management.


• Assist in other areas as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager


• Must follow company GMP’s, SOP’s, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct


• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions


• Strive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customers


• Other duties as assigned


• Handle, use, and store approved sanitation chemicals safely and in accordance with training, labels, and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to meet duties of a General Labor Level 1


• Employee is required to work in cold, damp environment


• Position requires previous sanitation experience; prior chemical-use exposure is a plus


• Must have basic verbal and written communication skills


• Must be able to work in a physically demanding position – bend, kneel, twist, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb ladders and reach above shoulders repeatedly the majority of the workday.


• Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds (with assistance, when required)

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR WORK HISTORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Equivalent or prior Sanitation experience


• Attendance must meet the company’s attendance expectations for the position.
