Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain Indiana CDL with air brake endorsement and safe driving record.
• Ability to operate department equipment and trucks.

• Strong safety awareness and adherence to EPA/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily service for the Charlestown Sanitation Department and drive/ride in collection trucks.
• Monitor collection and disposal of waste and maintain required records.
• Assist in maintenance and evaluation of department equipment.
• Address customer complaints and report progress to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and assist in repairs.
