Qualifications

• Valid CA Class C CDL with endorsements and a clean driving history.
• Strong verbal, writing, and math skills.
• Pass a background/physical/drug screen; DMV record must be clean.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Sanitation experience as a driver/pumper, following daily route instructions.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities.
• Must follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends for busy seasons.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty vacuum trucks for delivery, pickup and servicing of rental sanitation equipment (portable toilets, sinks, holding tanks).
• Pumping, cleaning, repairing, and re-supplying equipment according to BATS standards.
• Transport waste to a disposal facility when trucks reach load capacity.
• Navigate high traffic and congested roadways and varied work sites.
• Be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide yard support by organizing, cleaning and counting inventory.
• Adapt to company growth and changes (e.g., fencing).
• Follow company policies and visions; perform other duties as assigned.
