Job summary

The City of Dallas is hiring a Crew Leader - Sanitation who will supervise and coordinate sanitation crews, oversee forestry and park maintenance operations, and support street repair projects. You will also assist with operation and maintenance of lake spillway gates and ensure safety and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications include 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience, at least 1 year in supervision, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
• One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Leader - Sanitation leads, supports, coordinates, and directs various crews in the performance of different tasks for the department.
• Support forestry and park maintenance operations, routine to complex street repair projects, and the operation and maintenance of lake spillway gates.
