City of Dallas is seeking a Crew Leader - Sanitation to guide and coordinate multiple crews in sanitation operations, forestry and park maintenance, and street repair projects. You will oversee daily work, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and support lake spillway gate operations as needed.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong background in heavy equipment operation, and at least three years of experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Three (3) years of heavy equipment operation; some supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Job Summary

The Crew Leader - Sanitation leads, supports, coordinates, and directs various crews in the performance of different tasks for the department. Support forestry and park maintenance operations, routine to complex street repair projects, and the operation and maintenance of lake spillway gates.

Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Three (3) years of experience in heavy equipment operation (e.g., excavator, track/wheeled loader, bulldozer, motor grader, rotoboom). Some supervisory/leadwork experience.

One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license with good driving record.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Salary Range

$25.87 - $30.04. The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
