Job summary

Flying Food Group, LLC seeks an experienced Sanitation Manager for a 24/7 food manufacturing facility in California. You will lead sanitation programs, supervise staff, and ensure inspection readiness with USDA/FDA/HACCP standards.

The role requires 2+ years of managerial experience, strong communication, and knowledge of USDA, FDA and OSHA guidelines. This is a full-time exempt position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of managerial experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and OSHA guidelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation supervisors and employees to ensure SOP compliance.
• Maintain USDA, HACCP standards and pass pre-op requirements.
• Ensure dishroom throughput and readiness for audits (FSQ/USDA/FDA).
• Schedule shifts and manage hours, including overtime.
• Train staff on new chemicals or equipment.
• Oversee chemical and cleaning supply budget.
• Communicate sanitation needs across shifts and departments.
• Ensure new hires are trained on equipment and area cleanliness.
