Job summary

Kimco Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation operations in a food manufacturing facility in Cerritos, CA. You will oversee sanitation programs, ensure food safety compliance, and guide a team to maintain an audit-ready site.

You will develop schedules and SSOPs, ensure SQF/GFSI, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, and OSHA adherence, support audits, train staff, and drive continuous improvement alongside Production, Quality, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; related degree preferred.
• 3–5 years sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with SQF or other GFSI-recognized programs.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures, chemical safety, and allergen control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; dry ingredient manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts, weekends or overtime as needed.
