Job summary

Clio Snacks in New Jersey is seeking a Sanitation Associate Level 1 to maintain a clean and sanitary production environment in a food manufacturing setting. You will perform routine cleaning, disassemble equipment for cleaning, and ensure adherence to SSOPs and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic literacy, and an interest in sanitation. Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and other designated areas.
• Follow established SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals according to SDS.
• Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns to supervisor.
• Safely operate basic sanitation tools and equipment (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees).
• Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Support pre-operational inspections as directed.
• Comply with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and company policies; follow safety rules including Lockout/Tagout as applicable.

Compensation
