Job summary

Clio Snacks is seeking a Sanitation Associate Level 1 to maintain a clean, compliant food manufacturing environment. You will perform routine cleaning of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas while supporting food safety and quality programs.

The role requires basic literacy and a high school diploma or GED; sanitation experience is a plus. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facility areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Follow SSOPs and SDS for all sanitation tasks.
• Complete sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns.
• Operate basic sanitation tools safely (hoses, brushes, etc.).
• Comply with GMPs, HACCP, SQF and company policies.

The Sanitation Associate Level 1 is responsible for performing basic cleaning and sanitation tasks in a food manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the facility’s food safety and quality programs by maintaining a clean and sanitary production environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and other designated areas.
• Follow established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns to supervisor.
• Safely operate basic sanitation tools and equipment (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees).
• Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Support pre-operational inspections as directed.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, SQF, and company policies.
• Follow all workplace safety rules including Lockout/Tagout awareness (as applicable).

Compensation
