Job summary

Clio Snacks is seeking a Sanitation Associate Level 1 to perform routine cleaning and sanitation in our food manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and safety policies.

You will clean equipment, disassemble and reassemble under supervision, complete sanitation documentation, and report issues to supervision; prior sanitation experience is a plus. The role supports our safety and quality programs to maintain a clean production environment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing ability to read instructions and complete forms.
• Awareness of safety practices and procedures in a food-manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and other designated areas.
• Follow established SSOPs.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals per SDS.
• Complete sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns to supervisor.
• Operate basic sanitation tools and equipment.
• Dispose of waste per company procedures.
• Support pre-operational inspections as directed.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Comply with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and company policies.
• Follow all workplace safety rules including Lockout/Tagout where applicable.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and other designated areas.
• Follow established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns to supervisor.
• Safely operate basic sanitation tools and equipment (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees).
• Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Support pre-operational inspections as directed.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, SQF, and company policies.
• Follow all workplace safety rules including Lockout/Tagout awareness (as applicable).

What You'll Need

• Basic literacy skills required (ability to read instructions and complete forms).
• Sanitation experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

Compensation
