Job summary

Clio Snacks is seeking a QA Technician to assist with daily quality and food safety tasks under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor. You will perform routine checks, post-cleaning verification, and line clearance to support production.

You’ll collect samples for 3rd party labs, run shelf-life analysis, maintain inventory, enter data for Quality KPIs, and help ensure SQF, HACCP and GMP compliance across operations. Associate degree and 1 year in food QA preferred; entry-level considered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent science experience.
• At least 1 year of quality experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• HACCP and/or PCQI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily quality and food safety checks to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts post-cleaning verification, pre-operational inspection of equipment and facilities and line clearance.
• Collects environmental swabs and prepares samples for 3rd party lab analysis.
• Reports all product nonconformities and processing issues to Quality and Plant Management, as it relates to product quality and/or food safety.
• Performs computer data entry and statistical analysis of Quality KPI's.
• Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements, SQF, HACCP and GMP activities at all levels of operation.
• Helps maintaining quality manuals/SOPs, production/processing forms and records to meet established standards per SQF system.
• Participates in internal food safety audits.

What You'll Need

• Associate degree in science/work experience equivalent.
• At least one-year experience in quality role in food manufacturing environment.
• HACCP and/or PCQI certification is a plus
• Lab experience preferred, but not required.
• Entry-level candidates can be considered.

Compensation

• $23.00 / hour
