Job summary

Louisville/Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District seeks a seasoned supervisor to oversee construction, repair and maintenance of sanitary, drainage, and flood protection assets. You will coordinate field crews, assess facilities, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing investigations, communicating with MSD customers, and supporting capital and emergency response activities, including after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction administration or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in sanitary/drainage construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be reachable during off-duty hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all phases of sanitary, drainage and flood protection projects, including repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinates and schedules crews; inspects facilities and ensures safety standards.
• Responds to MSD emergencies and participates in grievance and disciplinary processes.
