Job summary

Louisville MSD is seeking a supervisor to oversee all phases of sanitary, drainage and flood-protection construction and maintenance. The role includes coordinating facilities for repair, supervising crews, and managing contracts with engineering vendors, with 24/7 readiness for emergencies.

Responsibilities include CSO work, NMC/CMOM activities, and support for capital projects. A related Associate Degree and 5+ years in the field are required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction administration or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience relating to sanitary/drainage construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe work habits.
• One or more years supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise a diverse workforce and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sanitary, drainage and stormwater construction and maintenance activities.
• Coordinates scheduling, material estimation and trench safety for crews.
• Oversees CSO inspection, cleaning and repair programs and CCTV work.
• Administers service contracts with engineering firms and vendors.
• Responds to MSD emergencies and supports capital project planning.
