Job summary

Paris Baguette - Montvale is seeking a Sandwich Team Member to prepare sandwiches and salads, maintain quality, and support all restaurant operations. You will help ensure a warm, welcoming cafe experience for guests and contribute to daily production and display standards.

The role emphasizes accurate food preparation, teamwork, and customer service, with opportunities to assist across shifts. Flexible scheduling and employee discounts accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Stellar customer service, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
