Job summary

Paris Baguette invites you to join our Sandwich Team in a fast-paced, guest-focused bakery café environment. You will craft sandwiches and salads, support various restaurant areas as needed, and contribute to maintaining our high standards of freshness and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for recipes and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Be a team player and assist and support in all areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Make dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensure sandwich display is presentable for customers.
• Complete records such as production, usage, and waste reports.
• Order products and materials as necessary.
• Maintain daily par levels and restock station orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly or supplies are running low.
• Conduct bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessments.
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, and workspaces.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and areas.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
