Paris Baguette in Winter Park, FL is hiring a Sandwich Team Member to prepare sandwiches, salads, and sauces and to maintain attractive displays for guests. You will collaborate with a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations and support across shifts as needed.

The role emphasizes quality, accuracy in food preparation, and exceptional customer service, with opportunities to contribute to inventory management and brand integrity in a fast-paced bakery café environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food handling or related experience
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling
• Ability to perform basic math for recipes and inventories
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Support in all areas of the restaurant as needed.
• Make dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Keep sandwich displays presentable for customers.
• Complete reports on production, usage and waste.
• Order product and materials as necessary.
• Maintain daily par levels and restock station orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Inform supervisor when equipment or supplies are low.
• Participate in bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessments.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Receive stock and store food properly.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Stellar customer service, both internally and externally.
