Job summary

Paris Baguette in New York is seeking a Sandwich Team Member to prepare sandwiches, salads and sauces and to support in all areas of the restaurant as needed.

You will maintain presentation, assist with inventory, restock, and ensure cleanliness; knowledge of the brand and menu items is valued; weekend/holiday availability expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
