Goldman Sachs in New York, NY is seeking a Sanctions Advisory Vice President in the Government Sanctions Group (FCC) to oversee sanctions programs under OFAC, UK OFSI, EU and other authorities.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of sanctions advisory experience at a global financial institution, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and spoken communication to guide first and second‑line stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sanctions advisory experience at a global financial institution or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with business, operations and technology divisions to provide expert guidance on sanctions matters including funds transfers, trades and complex transactions.
• Undertake assessments and investigations of sanctions matters, including US/UK/EU regulations, and prepare regulatory reports and internal disclosures.
• Advise on sanctions regulations as they relate to key controls within the broader sanctions compliance framework.
• Assist in managing regulatory and internal audit examinations; engage with OFAC and other government agencies as necessary.
• Ensure metrics, deadlines and record-keeping obligations established by sanctions management are met.
• Contribute to sanctions-specific and FCC governance forums and deliver sanctions training to Goldman Sachs employees.
