Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) required; JD or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in compliance, legal or financial crime at large banks.
  • Expertise in OFAC sanctions and EU/UK regimes.
  • Ability to navigate across geographic/cultural boundaries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Head of Sanctions Advisory to mitigate legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
  • Provide guidance on complex sanctions and export control matters.
  • Monitor sanctions regimes and advise actions by materiality and impact.
  • Coordinate responses to risk events with financial crime teams.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for sanctions reporting obligations.
  • Lead sanctions initiatives with strong program management.
