Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; JD or Master’s degree preferred.
• Advanced experience with large financial institutions in compliance, legal or financial crime.
• Expertise in sanctions regulations with focus on OFAC; knowledge of EU/UK regimes.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Head of Sanctions Advisory in safeguarding against legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Provide expert guidance on complex sanctions and export control matters.
• Monitor changes in sanctions regimes and advise actions by materiality.
• Coordinate responses to risk events with financial crime teams.
• Serve as SME for sanctions reporting obligations and OFAC disclosures.
• Drive sanctions initiatives with strong program management.
