Job summary

CONAM Management Corporation is seeking a Community Manager for an affordable lease-up on Monterey Road in San Jose, CA. This full-time role includes on-site housing and a compensation range of $28.00–$30.00 per hour.

You will oversee the operations of an affordable multi-family community, manage leasing, budgets and resident services, and lead on-site staff to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in property management of affordable communities.
• LIHTC and Section 8 experience required.
• Experience overseeing daily operations of a multi-family community with strong leadership.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections knowledge.
• Proficiency with Yardi and/or MRI for managing records and finances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of an affordable multi-family community ensuring safety and upkeep.
• Lead on-site staff, coaching in customer service, leasing, and resident relations.
• Manage leasing for units: marketing, tours, applications, and leases.
• Monitor budgets and monthly financial reports to ensure financial performance.
• Perform regular property inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer resident programs and community services to boost satisfaction.
• Oversee renovations and ensure projects finish on time and budget.
• Maintain records of move-ins/outs, rent collections, and renewals.
