Related Affordable seeks a dynamic Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an 85-unit affordable housing community in San Francisco, CA. You will supervise staff, oversee leasing, budgeting, and compliance with affordable housing programs while fostering a safe, well-maintained, resident-centered environment.

The position offers a salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, plus an annual performance bonus, plus a customizable rewards package including health, retirement, and life

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
• Strong financial acumen including budget management and accounting.
• Experience with RealPage, Yardi, and JD Edwards or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage office and maintenance staff hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administration.
• Ensure financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency management.
• Build relationships with residents and manage tenant/landlord relations.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC).
• Supervise property maintenance and service quality.
• Develop and manage the property's budget.
• Prepare reports to track performance and identify opportunities.
• Lead special projects to enhance the community and operations.
