Job summary

Verse Medical seeks an Office Manager to ensure the San Francisco office runs smoothly, greet visitors, and coordinate daily needs. You will manage supplies, vendors, and space, with a focus on delivering a professional, welcoming environment.

This 10–20 hour per week, in-person role is based in Union Square. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour, with a company-wide hybrid model and potential for increased involvement as the office grows.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in office management or related role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to all tasks.
• Ability to work in-person from our San Francisco office 10-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SF office operates smoothly daily.
• Anticipate day-to-day office needs and resolve issues.
• Serve as first point of contact for visitors.
• Maintain organized, well-stocked workspace.
• Oversee office logistics including supplies, deliveries, workspace setup, and space planning.
• Ensure conference rooms and A/V systems are functional.
• Liaise with building management on facilities and safety.
• Manage external vendors (cleaning, IT, office supplies).
• Monitor office budgets and process invoices.
• Assist with on-site IT operations and hardware inventory.
• Support onboarding and workspace preparation.
• Lead office move-ins/ move-outs.
• Plan in-office and off-site events.
