Job summary

Techmer PM in Rancho Dominguez, CA, is hiring a Samples Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–12:30 AM, Monday–Thursday). The role involves operating key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for customer applications, with a base pay of $22.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing experience; extrusion experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience is highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to learn plant equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Operate key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds.
• Follow all safety procedures and SOPs.
• Engage in process measurement, control, and improvement.
• Learn and understand operating parameters to ensure in-spec, high-quality product.
