Job summary

Techmer PM in Dalton, GA is seeking a Samples Technician for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with pay at $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience. You will operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for unique and specialty customer applications.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience; extrusion experience preferred; ability to lift 55 lbs; and willingness to learn plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55lbs frequently.
• Ability to learn plant equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds.
• Follow SOPs and work safely to protect yourself and others.
• Engage in process measurement, control, and improvement of assigned tasks.
• Learn key operating parameters to ensure in-spec, high-quality product delivery.
