Sample Registration Support Technician - 2nd Shift M-F

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environmental is seeking a Sample Registration Technician in Lancaster, PA, on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving, unpacking, and recording the temperature of samples at receipt; documenting discrepancies; organizing samples by project; transferring samples into the Sample Administration area for entry; and assisting with new employee training.
• Unpacking sample kits and coolers received at the lab.
• Comparing sample containers against client paperwork, documenting discrepancies, and aligning samples on carts according to client instructions.
• Taking and recording temperatures of environmental samples received.
• Communicating with client service representatives or project managers regarding samples that are above temperature thresholds or damaged.
• Notifying technical centers about short holding times or rush samples.
• Assisting with training and other duties as assigned, including cleaning and shipping.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 2nd shift, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Training hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
