$1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Glass industry experience is preferred.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime, following safety standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

• Advises management on developments affecting profit, schedule, costs, and departmental relations.
• Performs mechanical and electrical repairs on electric-power generating and transmission equipment.
• Collaborates with contractors for installation, servicing, and repairs of equipment.
• Conducts preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
• Communicates with operators across shifts.
• Diagnoses and resolves equipment issues, recommending new techniques or technologies.
• Maintains knowledge of safety policies and regulations.
• Analyzes downtime causes and test results to diagnose problems.
• Checks parts for defects and troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follows diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer instructions.
• Diagnoses CNC and PLC systems, locating root problems for repairs.
• Operates repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Reports faulty equipment and records repairs, parts, and materials used.
• Assists with inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Controls downtime through routine preventive maintenance communication.
• Operates cutting torches and welding equipment for fabrication.
• Uses various hand, power, and diagnostic tools, including electronic testing devices.

Skills You Bring:

• Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, PLCs, VFDs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, safety rules, and procedures.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools, and computer programs.
• Experience with water distribution and compressed air systems.
• Problem-solving skills, data collection, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Basic computer and email skills.
