Job Title: QA Technician
Location: Malvern, Pa
Hours/Schedule:2nd Shift M-f 2pm-10:30pm
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $22-$24/hour Responsibilities:- Monitor facility and personnel daily to ensure food safety and GMP compliance; perform GMP audits.
- Train staff on GMPs, risk controls, hazard analysis, and food safety programs.
- Collect, analyze, and document product samples; report out-of-spec results to QA Supervisor.
- Maintain records of analytical data and report trends to QA Supervisor.
- Inspect incoming raw materials; support investigations of non-conformance and complaints.
- Lead facility self-audits and assist in regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
- Ensure product complies with HACCP/HARPC programs.
- Alert QA Management of any food safety issues.
- Implement and manage food safety corrective actions.
- Promote continuous improvement and quality service.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–3 years manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with admin tasks and QA in food manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMPs
- Basic Excel and computer skills required
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with basic math
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
