Job description

Job Title: QA Technician
Location: Malvern, Pa
Hours/Schedule:2nd Shift M-f 2pm-10:30pm
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $22-$24/hour


Responsibilities:
  • Monitor facility and personnel daily to ensure food safety and GMP compliance; perform GMP audits.
  • Train staff on GMPs, risk controls, hazard analysis, and food safety programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and document product samples; report out-of-spec results to QA Supervisor.
  • Maintain records of analytical data and report trends to QA Supervisor.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials; support investigations of non-conformance and complaints.
  • Lead facility self-audits and assist in regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Ensure product complies with HACCP/HARPC programs.
  • Alert QA Management of any food safety issues.
  • Implement and manage food safety corrective actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement and quality service.
  • Meet deadlines with accuracy and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–3 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with admin tasks and QA in food manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMPs
  • Basic Excel and computer skills required
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable with basic math
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
