Job summary

Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical testing, seeks a Sample Receiving Technician in North Kingstown, RI. You will perform sample handling, receipt documentation, storage and disposal, and coordinate shipments to outside laboratories in compliance with EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• LIMS experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory SOPs in handling and disposal of samples.
• Light laboratory duties.
• Perform sample receiving duties including receipt, storage and disposal.
• Communicate discrepancies to Sample Receiving Manager.
• Pack and ship samples.
• Prepare client bottle orders.
• Assist with glassware cleaning and with chemists/technicians as needed.
• Maintain a safe workplace per safety program.
