Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in North Kingstown, RI, is seeking a Sample Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Sample Receiving department, ensuring accurate receipt, login, tracking, and distribution of environmental samples.

The role requires at least 3 years in lab/sample receiving, 1 year in leadership, and strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. The position is full-time with Monday–Friday shifts and RI location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory, sample receiving, sample login, or related environmental testing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with environmental samples, chain of custody review, sample login, and collection kit preparation preferred.
• Experience in an environmental laboratory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Sample Receiving activities, including sample login, verification, chain of custody review, and sample distribution.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping review, and staffing coordination.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to Sample Receiving personnel.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and adherence to SOPs across the department.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and contribute to process improvements.
