Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in North Kingstown, RI is hiring a Sample Receiving Technician (Entry-level/Non-degree). This full-time role supports sample receipt, storage and shipping, and involves following SOPs, data entry in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and maintaining a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to train on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• LIMS experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory SOPs in handling and disposal of samples.
• Light laboratory duties.
• Perform sample receiving duties including documentation, storage and disposal.
• Communicate discrepancies to Sample Receiving Manager.
• Packing and shipping samples.
• Preparing client bottle orders.
• Assist in glassware cleaning and with other technicians as needed.
• Perform responsibilities safely per Eurofins policies.
