Job summary

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking a Sample Receiving Data Entry Clerk I in Cinnaminson, NJ. The role supports the laboratory manager and analysts by overseeing shipping, receiving, distribution, and logging in samples.

Responsibilities include entering Chain of Custody in LIMS, processing shipments, handling invoices, and assisting clients. Requires strong data entry, MS Office skills, and ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in administration, data entry, and customer service.
• Proficient in MS Office and typing speed reliable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log environmental samples from customers and carriers.
• Open packages, count and sort samples to maintain integrity.
• Review paperwork for completeness and correctness.
• Enter Chain of Custody into LIMS for all divisions.
• Transfer samples based on priority to custody locations.
• Generate invoices and reports for clients as needed.
• Assist customers by phone, in person, or email.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving and related admin tasks.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
