EMSL Analytical, Inc. in Cinnaminson, NJ is seeking a Sample Receiving Data Entry Clerk I to support the laboratory manager and analysts. The role oversees shipping, receiving, distributing, and logging in of samples.

The candidate will review paperwork for incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness, and enter Chain of Custody into the LIMS system for all lab divisions. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule (10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), with 1–2 Saturdays per month.

EMSL is seeking a Sample Receiving Data Entry Clerk I in Cinnaminson, NJ. This is an administrative support position for the laboratory manager and the analysts. It will oversee the shipping, receiving, distributing, and logging in of samples.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive environmental samples from in person customers and shipping carriersOpen packages; handle, count, sort environmental samples to ensure sample integrity is retainedReview paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctnessEnter Chain of Custody into LIMS system for all lab divisionsTransfer samples based on priority to appropriate custody locationsGenerate invoices and reports for clients as neededAssist with customer or client questions via in person, phone, and e-mailCoordinate and perform sample-related activities, including shipping and receiving, processing and administrationOther responsibilities as deemed necessary by the managerRequirements:High School diploma or GED equivalentAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipExperience in administration, data entry, and customer serviceProficient in MS OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clienteleAble to work in a high volume environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit and stand for various lengths of timeEffective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal assistanceAvailable Shift:Position is full-time Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 1 to 2 Saturdays per monthTraining schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cinnaminson, NJ are encouraged to apply.EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and a flexible spending account.
