Job summary

Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is seeking a qualified professional to lead the EFII Sample Management group, aligning staff, resources, and processes to ensure accurate sample receiving, entry, and client services. You will implement department policies and drive measurable improvements within a regulated lab environment.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage data, train staff, and collaborate with clients and regulatory personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organize and evaluate data.
• Ability to lead self and staff development.
• Willingness to learn new tasks.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
• BS/BA in Chemistry or management; experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of GLPs, cGMPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to communicate scientific information with clients and regulators.
• Strong customer service and interaction with clients.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Minitab; working knowledge of NIMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the company vision and ensures attendance and punctuality.
• Ensures GMP/GLP compliance in all responsibilities.
• Manages EFII Sample Management operations, staffing, and resource planning.
• Coordinates facilities resources and equipment, and ensures proper documentation.
• Maintains accurate client entries in NIMS per requirements.
• Trains staff and oversees performance and development.
• Provides metrics and distributes reports to staff.
• Suggests process improvements for efficiency.
• Performs HR tasks including recruitment and evaluations; enforces affirmative action goals.
• Ensures safety and adherence to EH&S policies.
• Interacts with internal and external clients to troubleshoot issues (CAIR writing).
• Maintains shipping/receiving permits and meets project goals within constraints.
