Position Overview

The Sample Coordinator role provides direct support to the Design team on all aspects of running the business to achieve planned company objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, factory sample order management, brand and product information, specification updating, visual merchandising, outbound sample processing, inspecting inbound product to ensure everything arrived as ordered and other projects as needed. This position is fully in-office Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of development shoe samples and sensitive components to and from factories.
• Communicate with factories and internal teams to coordinate product reviews and sample shipments.
• Work with warehouse staff to obtain additional samples requested by various departments.
• Prepare, pack, ship, and track customer samples, including final samples and sales samples for existing and prospective retail customers.
• Distribute incoming samples and materials to the Production, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Maintain accurate sample records in tracking documents and the Design team’s system, accounting for all incoming, outgoing, and returned items.
• Keep the sample room, conference room, and confirmation room organized, and remove reduced and dropped styles as needed.
• Break down and dispose of boxes from sample shipments.
• Enter orders into Excel and customer portals.
• Help prepare sales samples and marketing materials for key trade shows.
• Set up conference rooms for meetings and provide general administrative support to the Design team.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be willing to work in-office Monday-Friday in Doral, Florida.
• Footwear or fashion experience in retail, merchandising, or product preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable taking direction, working independently, and collaborating with a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret relevant information.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes of samples.
