Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest in Tustin is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This entry-level role trains you to perform sample preparation on water, soil, and tissue samples, following established methods and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, safety conscious and eager to learn. No prior lab experience is required; training is provided and the position offers full-time hours with overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and handle laboratory samples and materials.
• English reading/writing and effective communication.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive, retrieve, and prepare water, soil and aquatic tissue samples.
• Document preparation details, observations and results accurately.
• Prepare reagents and standards for daily use.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and follow SOPs.
• Communicate with managers and teams on job status and issues.
• Work to meet turnaround times and production goals.
