Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Tustin, CA is seeking a Sample Control Technician to join our team. The role involves receiving, logging, labeling samples, and ensuring Chain of Custody accuracy for sign-in and analysis.

The position is full-time with potential overtime and weekend work. Training runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, after which shifts move to 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, and speak).

Responsibilities

• Receive, log in, label samples and manage bottle orders for sign-in and analysis.
• Count samples when receiving to ensure Chain of Custody matches and samples are intact.
• Verify samples are not broken and release custody with signatures and times.
• Maintain Chain of Custody records and coordinate with Project Managers and clients.
• Interact professionally with couriers and restock supplies as needed.
• Operate the shipping/receiving area safely and participate in on-site sampling events.
• Dispose of samples according to EPA and EH&S guidelines on a monthly basis.
