Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery unit. This full-time role supports patient care across shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Documentation of patient information must be accurate.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient conditions and priorities.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in acute care preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital.
• Delegate duties appropriately and direct staff in care delivery.
• Collaborate with medical staff and others to provide care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and Nurse Leader.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
