Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2NE Orthopaedic/Urology unit on a PDN as needed basis. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care across shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Under the Nurse Leader, you will coordinate care, delegate tasks, document care accurately, and communicate changes in patient conditions to the medical team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and nursing staff.
• Delegate duties and supervise staff as appropriate.
• Ensure resources are used appropriately and care plans are followed.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment outcome.
