Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3NE Med Surg unit. This full-time night shift position requires delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating with the nursing team, and adapting to unit needs across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The RN will work under the Nurse Leader, perform diverse nursing duties, and participate in resource utilization while maintaining positive communication with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Technical in Nursing required.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Basic capability to document patient information accurately.

• Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on unit need. Refer back to posting on which shift is available. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.


• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.


• Technical in Nursing required. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
